hey folks! I’ve just figured out this new blog/podcast/technology deal here so I’m going to the two jazz cafe shows that I have recorded so far. here’s the first one, from August 29, 2009. this one started out in more of a fusion-y direction, with some early Mahavishnu and something of the Jack Johnson miles record. the second part of the show was more avant-garde, with Sun Ra and Albert Ayler. finally, the show wrapped up with some more modern horn players like Steve Lehman and Chris Potter. enjoy!
