This week’s playlist was made with love to Jackie and David. It features a pretty classic thrashy playlist which is always gnarly! You can listen to the show below and check out the setlist here.

Hey guys, this week I mentioned something about sending me some ideas for what YOU want to hear on the show. I’m all for getting local bands in here! I’m trying to up LFR’s image, so if any of you know how to sketch I’m totally looking for a new logo for the show! I also need to work on some flyers…anyways, speaking of locals I played some Doomed Youth (RIP) as well as some Living Decay (keep a look out for their split with Anatomia!). Also, FYI: I started off the show with a sample from Ghoul’s newest release, Transmission Zero. I’m going to be checking them out in RVA in March, so you may be hearing a lot of Ghoul… Check out the set list here and let the music flow into our ears below:

HOPEFULLY the site is all good now so hopefully we’ll be able to upload the shows and playlists more consistently now…HOPEFULLY.
Thanks dudes!

Spring 2012 Semester

Posted by: loudfastrules
Jan 04 2012 12:57 am

So DJ Emilyyy! will be back for another semester as the host of Loud Fast Rules–definitely awesome news for me because I absolutely love doing the show. Thanks to all the listeners for supporting the show!

Trying to spread the word about our facebook page, so here is the link to that.

I’d also like to take the time to apologize for the lack of posts on the site. The end of last semester was a little spotty with all the WUOG events that were going on and breaks and whatnot, so I’ll try to do a little better with this Spring line-up.

Speaking of which, I’d love to hear what bands/artists you’d like to hear over LFR’s airwaves so if you have a request or suggestion please email me at loudfastrules@wuog.org!
