Organic Compound 3/20/10 Show (DJ S.O.S. Edition)

Posted by: organiccompound
Mar 27 2010 9:40 pm

While Rob and Tunde (DJ F.F.) are away, The Grand Polizzle shall play….two hours of the Thump and CircumTrance that’s so beloved in the Organic Compoundland.  The brisk neck snaps, shoulder pops, head jerks, and requisite “Shaking of the Boo-tay” are part of the O.C. experience, so fret none at the instantaneous reaction that the tunes will flood your every bodily sinew with.  While the array of beat compositions themselves are commandingly addictive, the inclusion of phantom-like vocals in portions of the fertile terrain will equally demand every iota of your attention(consider that you’ll hear vocals from Dinah Washington, Barry White, and even rap group Group Home intermingled within startlingly ubersonic backrops of sound).  It will alert the synaptic skyline grid about your virile consciousness, tickle the soft innards of the eardrums, entice your fingers to tap kinetic life into the inorganic void surrounding the capsulation of your listening session.   Prepare to move to the rhythmically concussive attack on your notions of form and note-by-note melody.   Let yourself be moved.  For the next two hours, it takes an armada of 27 master churners of the wonderful “Electronicream” to supply the sugary sonic satisfaction to your earlobes.  DJ S.O.S. is your server this evening, scooping each composition into the waiting ceramic dish of your hungry mind.  The play button below is your guide, your gateway, your gratification, your Godiva Chocolate of a music podcast.   Enjoy this moment and know that many before you have.  And with your kind word, many after you will…..

In leyman’s terms, it’s just another day here at Da O.C., y’all.  Bottoms up!

Organic Compound 12/5/09 Show(Da O.C. w/DJ S.O.S. and DJ F.F.)

Good evening listeners!  If your appetite for amps so dares, click on the Play button for a 2-hour pre-holiday serving of the “Electronicream” with DJ S.O.S. and DJ F.F.  Welcome to the Mansion of Metronome Madness that is Organic Compound.  Tonight’s residents-in-performance here at the 120 Minute, 120-Mile Beat Suite include a couple of heads (of the Propeller and Portis variety), Olive, Massive Attack, SinQ,  and the enigmatic David “Sexxxy Eyebrows” Torres, whose emerging resonance on the pulse of the O.C. horizon is of high note.   DJ T.B.S. (The Bangin’ Sweater) could not make it, but we have received confirmation that his Sweater is infact still “Bangin’” harder than a pack of Gremlins locked up in a leftover bag from Ike & Jane’s on a Tuesday evening.   It’s Da O.C., y’all….

We’re in the future now. It’s electronic, it’s several small numerals put together to form a date that’s apparently impressive. That is, 2010. Leave a comment or write us an email, organiccompound[at]wuog.org

Das coolest shows on das radio.

My sampler totally ran out of battery yall halfway through the set, so the second half is uber ole fashioned. I’ve been fascinated by this chillwave stuff, so you’ll hear a lot of that here.

Also, “Odd Man Out” lasted a little long this week so fast forward about ten minutes, and we’ll get there!
