Great Film Soundtracks
As an antidote to the huge joke that is the Oscars, we listen to some really cool and interesting film soundtracks, including Mishima, Eraserhead, Holy Mountain, and more! Fuck you John Williams!

I think it’s great you’re listening to film music. I hope you are playing it regularly on your station. Maybe you have a show or two dedicated to just film music. Did you know there’s whole internet radio stations dedicated to it? For example, streamingsoundtracks.com.
Anyway, it’s nice to see a blog entry about film music from a college station. I’ve done several soundtracks, they’re on iTunes; but generally we don’t send soundtracks to college radio (these being indie films, and “digital only” releases.) I wish I knew of more stations and DJs that were interested in playing independent film sound tracks.
Cheers!
